These narrow, tall pieces are about 22 inches tall and 4 1/2 to 5 inches in diameter. While some are fired vertically for a more traditional look, others are fired on their side so the ash funs are seen horizontally running around the vase. Some are fired in or very near the firebox, although others, decorated with slip and drawings, as well as glaze,are placed throughout the kiln. they are produced in small numbers.
