Bowls have been made for more than 6000 years. My bowls are influenced by looking at those from the Mediterranean, Europe, Pacific Rim Area, and of course, the USA. I have worked on bowls to the point of obsession. The names of the different types are not as important as the forms and all of the styles will function as the purchaser wishes. Each wood fired and hand trimmed style is more fully described in its section. They are microwave and dishwasher safe.
