Gallery: Planters
These wood fired pieces are meant to be used to contain already potted
plants held in less attractive, although functional, clay pots (they are so
called cache-pots). These works provide unique visual interest while
allowing for good drainage from the vessel directly holding the plant and,
as they are water tight, they protect floors and other surfaces. The two
styles (large and small) are both slab built on a non-electric wheel. The
larger ones have surface decoration added by paddling. Due to the size of
these pieces their numbers are limited.
